On the Road Again . . .

As  of April 2, 2013, Mike is off and running again! Accompanied again by his wife,  Kathy, the two of them have headed out to track more kilometers in continuing his 1800 km journey in support of Search Community Mental Health Services. Mike spent the winter months doing physiotherapy and rehab exercises and says he feels stronger than ever. Along this leg of the journey Mike and Kathy plan to follow Old Highway #2, which straddles the St. Lawrence River, from Kingston into Quebec. Mike plans to run 600 km in the month of April which will bring them to Quebec City, Quebec.

 
As of April 12th Mike has run a grand total of 828.34 km!

On October 14th Mike Kerrigan began the run of a lifetime among family and friends and supporters of mental health in our community. Mike left from Search Community Mental Health Agency located at 21 Richmond Street in Strathroy, Ontario Mike at 1:00 pm to begin his run accompanied by friends and family as he headed down the long road which will finish in 60 days, 1,800 kms later in Miramichi New Brunswick.

Mike in Ottawa with the Governor General - Monday, November 5th

Mental Health is an important topic for the spouse of the Governor General, Her Excellency Mrs. Sharon Johnston. The Governor General, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston was pleased to welcome Mike at Rideau Hall while he was in Ottawa, on Monday November 5th. They even joined him for part of his run!  THANK YOU for your support!!  They all look great in their run4rmh shirts!

About the Foundation

Search Foundation was formed in September of 2010 with the assistance of a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.  

Our mandate is to raise funds to support Search Community Mental Health Services which has been serving Strathroy/Caradoc and it's surrounding rural areas for over 30 years.

It is predicted that in less than 20 years, depression will be the second-leading cause of disability in the world.  20% of Canadians will personally experience a mentall illness in their lifetime, chances are you or someone you love will experience mental illness.
